Course Description

This comprehensive Facial Treatments Course is designed to provide future estheticians and beauty professionals with the foundational knowledge, technical skills, and confidence to perform safe, effective, and personalized facial services. Through a combination of theory and hands-on practical training, students will gain a deep understanding of facial treatment procedures, client care, and professional standards essential to success in the esthetics industry. 

The course covers Facial Treatment Theory, including an introduction to facial treatment services, their benefits, and a thorough overview of the products, tools, supplies, and equipment used. Students will learn how to identify different skin types and conditions to properly select and apply suitable products for optimal results. 

Practical training focuses on developing core Facial Treatment Skills, such as professional draping techniques, step-by-step facial procedures, and the application of treatments including a basic facial, men’s facial, acne facial, and chemical exfoliation. Students will also learn how to perform professional extractions, massage techniques, and mask applications tailored to individual client needs.

Emphasis is placed on creating exceptional guest experience, including proper facial treatment room setup, hygiene and safety practices, and adherence to care guidelines. Students will gain an understanding of contraindications, cautions, and client concerns to ensure safe and effective service delivery. 

In addition, students will explore business and career opportunities within the spa and wellness industry, gaining insight into professional development, client retention, and service enhancement strategies. 

Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, equipping them with the knowledge, technical expertise, and professionalism to confidently perform a variety of facial treatments and deliver outstanding client experiences in spa and esthetics settings
