Course Description

This comprehensive course is designed to equip future estheticians and beauty professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform safe, effective, and professional relaxation and body treatments. Students will learn through a balanced combination of theory and hands-on training, exploring all aspects of Relaxation Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Body Polish, and Hydrating and Detoxifying Mud Wrap Treatments. 

Theoretical studies will include anatomy and physiology as they relate to massage, the benefits and contraindications of various massage and body treatments, and the professional standards outlined in the esthetics Code of Ethics. Students will also develop a strong understanding of products, tools, equipment, and techniques used in each service. 

Practical training will focus on mastering massage and body treatment and skills that promote relaxation, circulation, and overall wellness. Emphasis is placed on creating exceptional guest experience through proper treatment room setup, hygiene and safety protocols, client consultation, and aftercare recommendations.

In addition, students will explore business and career opportunities within the spa and wellness industry, gaining insight into professional development, client retention, and service enhancement strategies.

Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, providing them with the confidence and professional competence to perform a variety of spa-level body and massage treatments and to pursue rewarding career paths in esthetics, spa, and wellness environments.
